Turkey Sausage & Pepper Noodle Toss

Ingredients

1 (12-ounce) package Medium Egg Noodles, uncooked
½ pound smoked turkey sausage links, cut in 1/4-inch slices
½ cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
½ large green bell pepper, cut in 1-inch pieces
½ large red bell pepper, cut in 1-inch pieces
1-1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 teaspoons chicken-flavor bouillon granules
½ teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 medium tomato, chopped

Directions

Cook Medium Egg Noodles as package directs; drain. In Dutch oven, over medium heat, cook and stir sausage, onion and garlic in oil until onion is tender. Add mushrooms and peppers; cook and stir 5 minutes. Stir together water and cornstarch until well blended; stir in bouillon and basil. Add to sausage mixture. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Add tomato then noodles; toss to coat. Heat through. Serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers.
